  I was given this contact by my decorator for my upcoming wedding. I went on their website and filled out their inquiry form with the following request: white dance floor, gold chiavari chairs and a platform stage. With this being my first (and only) wedding, certain things (if not all) are new to me (as it may be for most brides). With that being said, the vendors should be aware of this when emailing their potential clients back. This was the RUDE (yes all caps, and you'll see why) I got back...

  please advise on the following :
  
  White dance floor - ( WHAT SIZE ??? )
  
  Platform stage ( WHAT SIZE - LENGHT X WIDTH X HEIGHT ???? )
  
  Gold chiavari chairs with white cushion ( HOW MANY ??? )
  
  I've been planning my wedding since March of 2016, and no vendor has ever not congratulated me or thanked me for my request into their company. Besides that, who emails potential clients back in all caps with so many punctuation marks? This email simply could have said, "Thank you for your inquiry, to help us better serve you, can you please provide us with the number of chairs, and the dimensions for the stage and dance floor." Instead, I got this email, where when I read it, felt like someone was screaming at me (because isn't that the feeling we all get when someone types in ALL CAPS).
  
  After sending them the numbers, I did get an inquiry back. Chiavari chairs were expensive (more than there competitors). So I simply asked them to take the chairs off the inquiry and provide me with a quote for just a raised platform stage. Now don't get me wrong, I understand 100% that this is a business, but with that being said, this was the blunt email I received.
  
  "Hello,
  We are no longer able to service your request. Will are voiding your inquiry.
  Thank you for your the opportunity. We wish you the best."
  
  Huh? They would rather have 0$ versus the amount that they would've had gotten if I had purchased the raised platform from them (which I was planning on doing). Again, if they did not want my business, thats perfectly fine, but there is a better and more PROFESSIONAL way of emailing people. An explanation would've been courteous.
  
  I should've listened to the reviews I read online about this companies rude manorism and poor communication skills. Trust me, when planning one of the most important days of your life, the vendors you choose are so important. I will have to say, with the 20+ vendors I am in works with for my wedding, this company was by far the most rude.

  Clearly this company has a track record of poor service. I should have looked up their reviews before renting from them. I had an issue with the venue I used that although was not directly the fault of Alan I was asking for a modest credit (~$25) to put towards future rentals that they refused. Not only will I never rent from here again (I have a wedding and engagement party in the next few months to a year), I will make sure none of my friends, family, neighbors, acquaintances, etc in and around the Hackensack area and throughout Bergen county use this company. I know a lot of people but I guess they aren't concerned. There are plenty of better alternates. Good customer service goes a long way. Don't rent from Alan Party Rentals.

  Extremely rude, top it off super expensive. Wouldn't trust their service.
